Shear Grabs.

This is running gears range of hydraulically operated silage blockcutters. Manufactured from hard wearing 10mm plate steel and hollow section, each tyne is bolted in place to individual machined sleeves.

Each unit is taylor made to suit the broad range of front end loaders available on the market today. The serrated cutting edge is machine edged before being heat treated to retain its wearing surface. The cutting surface is shaped to seal the clamp after each block is tacken, to prevent oxygen entering the face of the clamp, thus avoiding secondary secondary fermentation.
